The SaskFestivals program supports and encourages eligible festival organizations and series presenters in the province that have a positive impact on the arts in Saskatchewan. This includes financial support for their artistic programs and services and governance, management, administrative and operational functions.
SaskFestivals is a SK Arts program supported by funding from Sask Lotteries through the partnership between SK Arts and SaskCulture Inc.

- Legally registered in Saskatchewan as non-profit organizations or are ad hoc groups, collectives, or unincorporated organizations operating on a not-for-profit basis.
- Engage the services of professional artists during the presentation of proposed programs.
- Provide public access to the arts through a festival setting.
Development
- Core mandate of the organization is to present an arts festival or series.
- Minimum of three years of operation prior to first application.
- Engages the advice and expertise of professionals in its programming and administration.
- Financial and decision-making processes controlled by Saskatchewan residents.
- Centre of operation and primary programming in Saskatchewan.
Established
- Core mandate of the organization is to present an arts festival or series.
- Minimum of five years of operation prior to first application.
- New applicants to this stream must have been previously funded through the Development stream and be deficit-free at the time of application.
- Engages paid expertise of professionals in its programming and administration.
- Mandate and work supported by strategic plan, artistic vision, and ongoing evaluation processes.
- Financial and decision-making processes controlled by Saskatchewan residents.
- Centre of operation and primary programming in Saskatchewan.
- Incorporated.
- Registered with and reporting in CADAC.
- Review engagement or audit required annually.
