The AFC is pleased to announce the Reactivation Program – direct financial assistance for independent, self-employed, and gig workers in the live performance sector who are experiencing financial hardship due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Reactivation Program serves theatre, comedy, and circus performers, as well as technicians, production, and other live performance professionals who need financial support to maintain or regain work in the sector.

The AFC Reactivation Program provides financial support for expenses such as:
» Training fees
» Licenses or certifications costs
» Equipment purchase or rental
» Other expenses related to your work
» Basic living expenses like rent or bills, debt or expenses due to the pandemic

The program is run by The AFC, and funded by the Government of Canada, Canadian Heritage, Performing Arts Workers Resilience Fund (CPAWRF).
