Dimensions is the Saskatchewan Craft Council’s open, juried exhibition which encourages and rewards excellence in hand-crafted work. Every four years all Saskatchewan craftspeople are eligible to submit up to two hand-crafted items. Two experienced jurors are tasked with selecting the pieces for the exhibition, as well as deciding which pieces merit the many available awards.
Dimensions 2025 is open to all craftspeople and artists living and working in Saskatchewan. Entries are only accepted by completing the online submission form and (if applicable) paying entry fees.
ELIGIBLE MEDIA
Eligible media include works produced in any of the following craft media: basketry, calligraphy, clay, fibre, glass, metal, paper, photography, printmaking, wood, jewellery, sculpture, seed beading, or any combination of craft media (mixed media).
All work must be original in concept, design, and execution (kits or commercially designed works will not be accepted).
All work must have been completed within the past two years (2022-2024) and not previously been exhibited at the Saskatchewan Craft Council Gallery.
The SCC will not be accepting painting and drawing submissions to Dimensions 2025. SCC visual arts members in good standing continue to have access to other SCC benefits, programs and projects.
NUMBER OF ENTRIES AND ENTRY FEES
Artists are limited to a maximum of two entries. There is a $40.00 (CAD) non-refundable fee for each entry. Entry fees are waived for Members of the Saskatchewan Craft Council in good standing at the time of entry. Artists may apply to become a member in lieu of paying the entry fee(s). Visit saskcraftcouncil.org to learn about additional membership benefits.
The deadline for submission of the Dimensions 2025 entry form is Monday, March 24, 2025; applicable entry fees must be paid in full by Wednesday, April 1, 2025. Entries with outstanding fees past this deadline will not be included for consideration by the jurors.
