The Thriving Non-Profits program is a comprehensive fundraising and leadership training program created by non-profit leaders, for non-profit leaders. Developed to address the critical need for revenue beyond traditional grants and donations, this program helps organizations understand the many ways they can attract or develop new resources, increase their financial resilience, build capacity, and amplify their impact.
Our cohort program is a unique four-month experience that combines online learning, live virtual sessions, and support from expert coaches. It empowers organizations with a new mindset and a revenue diversification action plan they can start using right away.

The non-profit sector is navigating increasingly complex challenges. Rising community needs, limited resources, and increasing costs put unprecedented pressure on organizations. These challenges reveal the limitations of traditional approaches and create a powerful call for new thinking.

That’s why we’re proud to support the Spring 2027 cohort of Thriving Non-Profits, a proven, capacity-building program that equips non-profit leaders with the tools and strategies needed to build lasting financial resilience.

Over four months, participating organizations will explore nine revenue strategies, shift organizational culture, and develop a customized revenue diversification action plan. Backed by expert coaching, practical tools, and a vibrant community of peers, Thriving Non-Profits is rooted in the non-profit sector’s strength and creativity, and is designed to challenge non-profit norms and spark bold new thinking.

What people are saying: “This program was truly fantastic. It showed us where we need to branch out so we don’t become over-reliant on a single funding source. Gaining that understanding and having a clear framework around revenue diversity was incredibly valuable.” – Rhonda Spencer, Board Member, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Saskatoon.

Who should apply?

The program is designed for non-profit teams: Executive Directors, board members, and senior staff. Thanks to support from the Community Initiatives Fund of Saskatchewan, Saskatchewan Community Foundation, and Saskatoon Community Foundation, bursaries are available for organizations facing financial barriers to participation. Please indicate the financial support you need during the application process. The application deadline is November 27, 2026.

The time to build a resilient future is now. Let’s take action together!
