Neutral Ground is hiring a summer Archive Assistant!

Are you, or someone you know, between the ages of 15-30 and interested in gaining first-hand experience working at a non-profit, Artist-Run Centre? This could be the ideal summer job for you! 

The Archive Assistant will be primarily responsible for:

  • Populating Neutral Ground’s new website with relevant material from the organization’s digital archive
  • Updating this archive with material dating back to the founding of the organization in 1982
  • Working onsite at Neutral Ground’s office in downtown Regina to assist with the day-to-day operations of the gallery (including interfacing with the public, attending events and meetings with staff and the board of directors.)

Additional tasks and opportunities to include:

  • Animating Neutral Ground’s social media and digital newsletter with historical content from the archive
  • Curating and mounting an exhibition from archival materials in Neutral Ground’s Window Gallery

This position will include significant mentorship and support from various arts professionals within Neutral Ground’s community. The successful candidate will gain valuable experience and knowledge in the fields of Canadian contemporary art, non-profit organizations, and in curating and mounting exhibitions.
