Reporting to our Artistic Director, the Show Art Visual Artist will be responsible for the creation of three designs that will become the “show art” for each show in our 2023 Season.
Duties:
The creation of 3 designs that will be used as the “short art” for each of the three shows:
- The Most Excellent and Lamentable Tragedy of Romeo + Juliet, directed by Kayvon Khoshkam.
- As You Like It, directed by Jamie King.
- Dark Lady, written and created by Jessica B. Hill.
These designs will be used as the “logos” for the shows and will appear in numerous locations for the upcoming season including our website, on promotional materials, and on our social media platforms.
Qualifications
- A portfolio will be required to be considered
- Must be able to be self-motivated and punctual
- Will report directly to the Artistic Director, and therefore must be open to suggestions and feedback
- Must have proficiency in the medium of the artist’s choice
- Positive, creative attitude
Pay: This position is a paid consultant position and includes a paid contract for $1,000.
Terms of Position: Final art must be available no later than March 28th, 2023. A review period will occur one week prior to this date.
Application deadline: Submissions will be reviewed and accepted remain until position is filled.
